At Soaring Preparatory Academy, we are a community-powered co-op, which means we thrive when each family shares their gifts. Whether you’re passionate about teaching, organizing, or simply being a helping hand, there’s a place for you here!

 

We are currently seeking both lead teachers and support volunteers for the upcoming school year:

 

Open Teaching Positions (Grades 4–12)

 

We are looking for confident, enthusiastic individuals who love working with students and are willing to follow or implement curriculum with training and support.

✍️ Writing & Grammar – IEW or Easy Grammar (training available for IEW)

🔬 Middle School Science Labs – Based on MasterBooks curriculum

🌎 Spanish – Middle/High School level (Foreign Languages for Kids by Kids)

🎨 Art / Fine Arts Coordinator – Hands-on projects using chalkpastel.com and music resources

🎭 Theater Assistant – Help manage small productions and rehearsals

🩺 Career Track Instructors – Medical (A&P, CPR) or Business (Boss Club, entrepreneurship)

 

Support & Assistant Roles

 

Don’t feel led to teach? We still need you! These roles are just as vital:

👩‍🏫 Classroom Assistants (Grades 1–6) – Help manage materials and student transitions

🥪 Lunch & Recess Monitors – Ensure safety and community during breaks

📆 Teen Club / Field Trip Coordinator – Plan exciting off-campus opportunities

📷 Event Photographer / Social Media Assistant – Help document and share our year!
